Puppet dog Skeeter gets control of the show again, and this time it’s all about MACHINES. Alex Ant’s Mom goes to work, leaving Alex and Skeeter to do all the chores. It’s going to take forever! Fortunately, the Ask Mrs. Wizard Show comes to the rescue, giving Skeeter all the info about Simple Machines that he needs to make the work easier. But, wait, Skeeter! You’re wrecking the house trying to build that crazy contraption! This fun-filled science-based show culminates with Skeeter’s Rube Goldberg inspired machine in action.

Filled with fun, Skeeter's Amazingly Fantastic Machine gives kids an overview of the six simple machines: inclined plane, lever, wheel and axle, wedge, screw, and lever. It is also an introduction to the concept of the Rube Goldberg machine.

This show uses hand puppets and rod puppets and is performed inside a professional, colorful puppet booth. All puppets are handmade by the puppeteer. The show is followed by a demonstration speech about the puppets, puppeteering, and information about Rube Goldberg. All questions will be answered, and children will have a chance to take a closer look at the puppets that interest them.
